Maestro Richard Bonynge AC, CBE

Portrait of the inspiring and truly formidable Maestro Richard Bonynge, who was out here briefly from his home in Switzerland and was able to attend the unveiling in December 2021. We decided on the high 1970s period as a way of celebrating his full maturity as an artist, but there’s really not much difference at his current 92! - also painted with his two favourite combination colours.
