Unveiling tonight of my portrait of the inspiring and truly formidable Maestro Richard Bonynge, here briefly from his home in Switzerland. We decided on the high 1970s period as a way of celebrating his full maturity as an artist, but there’s really not much difference at his current 92! Thanks to the @thejoan @penrithregionalgallery and especially Cath Dadd for this extremely special and meaningful commission.
